It all began with a Chinese herbalist named Beh Yew Jin, who travelled to Malaysia in 1936. Mr. Beh noticed the scarcity of Chinese herbal formulations within the thriving Malaysian beverage market. Inspired, he concocted his very own herbal tea for the local community in 1949. A creative thinker with a sharp business acumen, Mr. Beh produced the tea in powder form so that consumers can enjoy the drink anywhere, anytime. Boosted by positive response from the market, Beh Kwang Chee Enterprise (BKC) was founded in 1950.
