Pure Water, Inc. (originally named Pure Water Society, Inc.) was founded in 1968 near Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. During the 1970’s with the assistance of well-known celebrities Rudy Valle, Zig Ziglar and Earl Nightingale, Pure Water became a dominant company in the design, manufacturing and marketing of water purification equipment utilizing the process of distillation. This equipment was targeted towards home and office needs for high purity drinking water.

The Company has developed distillation equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional applications, and has developed additional technologies. It has expanded its product line, manufacturing capabilities and marketing to include turnkey bottled water plants.

Today, and after more than 40+ years, there are hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers in discriminating homeowners, hosts of commercial and industrial users all over the world. The U.S. Department of States has selected Pure Water, inc. purification equipment for use in U.S. Embassies and for embassy staff in many of the most remote corners of the world. Other customers include U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Air Force, Westinghouse, Texeco Oil, Shell oil and AT&T.

Pure Water products are now available in over 120 countries. Pure Water Asia Sdn Bhd was established with a paid-up capital of RM2.5 million.

In Malaysia, we set up the first bottled water plant to process drinking water by vapor compression in 1991, the first in the country. Today, we have bottled water operations in Johor Bahru under Pure Water (JB) Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur under PureWater (KL) Sdn Bhd and Penang under Pure Water (Pg) Sdn Bhd.

In 2006, Pure Water (KL) Sdn Bhd’s bottling plant was HACCP Certified by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Pure Water (JB) Sdn Bhd is ISO & HACCP Certified by SGS since 2009.
