Standards | ‘Sunnik’ HDPE Lined HDG Sectional Panels Tank (rectangular) constructed with hydraulically pressed flanged panel conform to British Standard 1564:1949 & 1975 and latter HDPE lined heated onto internal side of panels. |
Materials | The mild steel used in the manufacturer of the plates, stays, cleats, and pads for installation confirm to the requirements of B.S.4360 grade 43A. |
Tank Panels | Tank panels of 4′ x 4′ or 1m x 1m square are hot dip galvanized to ISO 1461:1999 |
Panel | HDPE Lined HDG Sectional Panels Tank covers are hydraulically pressed 1.5mm thk. x 1m x 1m square. |
Stays and Cleats | The stays and cleats shall be of stainless steel* |
Bolts and Nuts | Bolts nuts and washer that are in contacted with water shall be stainless steel* whereas those not in contacted with water shall be of hot dipped galvanized type. |
HDPE Lining | 1.0mm thick HDPE (High density polyethylene) geomembrane heat lined onto panel’s internal surface. All seams shall be homogeneous welded using hot fusion welding. |
Ladders | The internal ladder shall be stainless steel* or Aluminium type while the external ladder shall be either galvanized or aluminium type. |
Level Indicator | Galvanized indirect reading indicator (ruler type) shall be provided on request. |
B.S. 1564: 1975 (Revised) | For cold liquid with density of 1.0 and having temperature not exceeding 38°C. Tanks 4ft Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 8ft Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 12ft Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 16ft Height: Bottom and first tiers of sides and ends. 6mm Second, third and top tiers of sides & ends 5mm |
